Kacie Swartz
CFP® Certificant, CIMA®, Managing Partner
Kacie Swartz is Managing Partner at Black Barn, where she leads financial planning.
Kacie has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner since 2012, holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation and has spent more than twenty years helping people navigate complex events like career changes, divorce, inheritance, and balancing the caregiving responsibilities that arrive without warning.
Kacie's particular strength is making the complex manageable. For example, benefit package reviews are her signature: explaining the Dependent Care FSA most parents skip, the 401(k) contribution structure that doesn't match what someone actually needs, the health insurance decision that's been on autopilot for years. Most people leave real value on the table not because they're careless, but because no one has ever walked them through what they actually have. Kacie does that.
What she builds for clients is a structure, not a one-time plan. Prioritized by urgency, paced so that momentum builds rather than overwhelms. She works toward one goal for every client: financial confidence based in real data, explained in simple terms.
Kacie has been a volunteer financial coach at Dress for Success and volunteer tax preparer with Foundation Communities. The work confirmed something she already believed: there's no such thing as a financial situation too small to take seriously. All of it is money, and all of it deserves attention.
